Related Party Transactions | Related Party Transactions In April 2020, the Company sold an aggregate of 4,409,596 shares of our Series E redeemable convertible preferred stock to related party investors at a purchase price of $9.6453 per share, for an aggregate purchase price of $42.5 million.
In April 2021, the Company sold an aggregate of 1,935,789 shares of our Series E-1 redeemable convertible preferred stock to a related party investor at a purchase price of $10.3317 per share, for an aggregate purchase price of $20.0 million.
KKR & Co. Inc. (“KKR”) is a U.S.-based investment firm that controls the funds which own approximately 5.4% of the Company’s capital stock and has representation on the ForgeRock Board of Directors. ForgeRock has revenue arrangements with a KKR affiliate in which KKR acquired a significant level of ownership during the fourth quarter of 2020. During the year ended December 31, 2021, the Company recognized revenue of $4.6 million from software license agreements with this KKR affiliate. The Company had $1.5 million in accounts receivable recorded related to these agreements at December 31, 2021.
